Petition to add "Carry" "Drop" to heroes
Petition to add "Carry" "Drop" commands to heroes
In some quests/ missions, players need to carry a torch/a keg/a stone for a quite long travel. The travel , of course, is not peaceful. Players have to fight the mobs, command the henchies, having a keg in both hands is absolute frustrating for above things. if you are a melee guy, carrying torch is pretty much make you useless. If you are a casters, you cant wand up with a keg in hand and ofter get displaced when you choosing targets and commanding henchies
Now , we have heroes, it would be wonderful if we can have our heroes carry those thing for us so we can concentrate on fighting/commanding and all other things.

I completely agree with that. Some things can only be dropped and never picked up again (so I have to get a new one...) and its hard pulling w'o a longbow

hay, i herd res thread was gud?
Even with the extreme age, I'm pretty sure a more recent thread of the past 365 days addressed this issue. Unfortunately, nothing was done about it.

Old thread, but I guess /signed
It gets annoying having to carry things. It's fine if you're a caster, but if you're a dervish, warrior, or assassin, you can't do much while holding that bundle that is so precious to the mission.

The inability of heroes to carry things is needlessly punishing H/H players.
Implementation: when targeting an item, click the Lock Target button on a given hero. They then move to it and pick it up. The Drop Item button for heroes (replaces the Lock Target button when a hero casts an Item Spell) is already there and ready. I don't think it would be hard.

I just H/H'ed Gayala Hatchery this afternoon and it was really annoying having to run a relay race to keep two of the smoke canisters within a reasonable distance. And lest we forget the third one I abandonded after one or two relays trying to grab it.

Also what about adding hero/pet XP bars? for once i'd like to know how long i have to wait until my pet reaches his next level!

Despite the age of the thread, it's still relevant. /signed. It was really annoying in some Jungle missions where I had to run back and forth with seeds.

I've had this idea many times.
It could be also used to handle bundles to allies.
#1. Add a 'Give' button next to the 'Drop' button.
#2. Add a 'Give' button next to the 'Drop' button in Hero panels too.
#3. Select target, hit 'Give'. If the target is a party member or a Hero, the item would be handed over.
A. Of course, this won't work with Ritualist ashes, only with things like Flags, Repair kits, PvE bundles, etc.
B. Henchmen would be out of this too. They won't take or give bundles.
C.Heroes would be able to pick bunles, but won't be able to use them. For eample, in D'Alession Seaboard, if you are a Warrior you could pick the Melandru Offering, give it to Olias, and the you'll have to take it from Olias (by selecting yourself and hitting his 'Give' button) to be able to use it.
That would be PERFECT.

Good idea but too complicated implementation. A simpler approach would be:
You have a bundle
you double click another party member (PC or hero) => you give the bundle to that party member
A hero has a bundle
you double click the hero => hero gives the bundle to you
